Private lessons are a great way to get introduced to the world of coding! All coding classes are taught virtually via Zoom using CodeSandbox, a collaborative browser-based coding environment that allows students to learn, code, and test their projects in real-time. Since CodeSandbox doesn't require any installation or complicated setup, getting introduced to coding doesn't have to be overwhelming!


You may be interested in private classes if you:

  • Are interested in a course that is tailored to your interests and individual learning speed.
  • Prefer one-on-one teacher-student interactions as you feel you learn better.
  • Need flexible timings that will fit into your busy schedule.
  • Want your child to get an early introduction to code.
  • Want to pick up a new hobby or practical skill!
  • Feel intimidated by coding and don't know where to start.
  • Are curious about code, but never had the chance to learn – it's never too late!


The number of recommended classes in a session may vary depending on the number of students in a class, an individual’s learning speed, and whether a student has any prior experience. Course availability varies depending on instructor availability.

CODE YOUR FIRST WEBSITE WITH HTML & CSS

In these classes, students will learn how to use HTML and CSS to create their very first website! HTML is the markup language used by web developers to create the base structure of a web page, while CSS is a separate coding language used to change the appearance of the web page. Students will learn how to add HTML components, such as links, images, and text to their web pages, add style using CSS, and much more!

  • Recommended For: Kids (Grades 4-6), Teens (Grades 7+), Adults
  • Number of Classes per Session: 8 to 10
  • Course Types Available: Introductory (for Beginners) & Project Classes (for Returning Students)

CODING MINIGAMES WITH SCRATCH

In this program, students will learn about computer basics while being introduced to the world of coding through Scratch, a drag-and-drop educational coding language! With Scratch, students will develop basic programming skills and learn creative thinking as they create interactive stories and mini-games – all while having fun!

  • Recommended For: Kids (Grades 1-6)
  • Number of Classes per Session: 5 to 8
  • Course Types Available: Introductory (for Beginners) & Project Classes (for Returning Students)

CODING WITH JAVASCRIPT

In this program, students will learn about the basics of coding with JavaScript through hands-on mini projects! JavaScript is a programming language that allows you to add complex features and interactions to web pages. JavaScript can be used to create web applications and is often integrated into HTML and CSS (the coding languages used to create web pages)!

  • Recommended For: Kids (Grades 4-6), Teens (Grades 7+), Adults
  • Number of Classes per Session: 8 to 10
  • Course Types Available: Introductory (for Beginners) & Project Classes (for Returning Students)
